This is the sweater (with my photo on it) that won an Xmas sweater contest. Merry Christmas everyone! Fun fact: based on historical and astronomical data that verify Biblical events and timelines surrounding Christ’s birth, Jesus was not born on December 25th but in late summer/early fall - most likely on September 11, 3BC. However, if any holiday helps us remember someone who sacrificed himself for the good of all - I will celebrate it!!!! Plus we get a day off work and presents… ;-) Merry Christmas friends!

American Music Awards

According to Daily Variety, the awards show had an amazing night for ABC.

Really?!

Maybe my social circle is too small but today none of the 150 people I work with in retail had any idea there was an awards show last night. Figure their ages range from 18-50 and about half and half on gender.

Heading out for some unhealthy but great breakfast sandwiches, I asked the employees at the fast food place (all in their low 20s it looked like) and none of them had watched the show.

A brief glance through Facebook and Twitter - no one is talking about it.

I don’t remember any advertisements on tv or radio. The first I heard of it was when the morning dj’s on KROQ were bagging on the show this morning.

So really, who is watching? Did anyone in my circle of Internet peeps see it? Did anyone care about a show that doesn’t really award anything but pop music?

One last photo of Bodie, the puppy we were fostering. He now has a bigger nicer home than me in Dana Point near the sea cliffs. Lucky bastard… In this photo Bodie REALLY wanted to play with the dog in the mirror, but that scentless “dog” just kept copying him. Tiny high-pitched barks are hilarious, by the way!
